Tasks

-Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize performance of the applications and infrastructure -Critically analyze existing team and implement KPIs to measure effectiveness -Provide subject matter expertise on certain aspects of product architecture -Develop and set the DevOps strategy in alignment with organizational goals -Hire and manage team leads across various development teams -Contribute to product and technology roadmaps -Implement automation tools and frameworks (CI/CD pipelines) to streamline software development and deployment processes -Develop and continuously improve all stages of our Agile Software Development Lifecycle in order to improve products and ensure a scalable environment -Develop and enforce industry-standard operating guidelines and policies -Perform code reviews -Develop a program to coach and mentor staff via internal or external resources

What You Bring

-Substantial experience with Git, Jira, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and delivering SaaS products -Excellent cross-departmental communication skills, both verbal and written -Work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment -10+ years professional experience in commercial system software development and delivery -Detail-oriented and organized -A problem solver -Proven leadership skills, including the ability to identify talent, build teams, mentor and develop team members and inspire performance that exceeds expectations and retains resources -An excellent communicator - both verbally and in writing -Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, MIS, Engineering, or related field -8+ years of experience building, leading, managing and developing high-performance engineering teams and inspiring performance that exceeds expectations and retains resources -Knowledge of Linux System Architecture -Knowledge of Programming languages PHP, React, JavaScript, Python, C and/or Laravel -Proven knowledge in software and systems architecture, design and implementation
