Tasks
-Use personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, goggles, and safety harnesses as needed. -Assess and repair damaged or broken glass in windows, doors, and storefronts. -Communicate effectively with clients to understand their glass needs and provide expert recommendations. -Work will be performed on residential and commercial job sites. -Perform glass replacement, re-glazing, and sealant application to ensure the integrity and functionality of glass installations. -Coordinate with other team members, contractors, or subcontractors as necessary to complete complex installations or repairs. -Measure, cut, and install glass for windows, mirrors, doors, and other fixtures in residential and commercial properties. -Respond promptly to service calls and prioritize emergency repairs as necessary. -Install tempered, laminated, and insulated glass as required. -Maintain accurate records of work performed, including materials used and time spent on each job. -Accurately interpret measurements on a tape measure. -Install glass in frames, sashes, and panels, ensuring secure placement and proper sealing. -Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations while handling glass and operating tools. -Properly dispose of broken glass and other materials in accordance with safety protocols. -Ensure that all glass installations and repairs comply with local building codes and safety standards. -Provide accurate and timely estimates for glass installation, repair, or replacement services. -Address any customer concerns or questions, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. -Manage multiple service requests efficiently, ensuring timely completion of jobs. -Ensure tools and equipment are in good working condition and report any malfunctions or repairs needed. -Provide emergency glass repair services for clients experiencing urgent issues, such as broken windows or storefront glass. -Provide recommendations to clients regarding glass repairs, replacement, or upgrades. -Operate and maintain tools and equipment, such as glass cutters, suction cups, power tools, and safety gear.

What You Bring
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team. -Outdoor and indoor work, in various weather conditions. -Maintain professionalism and a positive attitude while working on job sites and interacting with clients. -Excellent customer service and communication skills. -Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a glazier in both residential and commercial settings. -Ability to lift and carry heavy materials (up to 75 lbs) as needed. -Proven experience in glass installation, repair, and replacement. -Ability to stand, kneel, bend, and work in various positions for extended periods. -Familiarity with using glass-related tools and equipment. -Comfortable working at heights and on ladders or scaffolding. -Strong knowledge of glass cutting, handling, and installation techniques. -Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and best practices (preferred). -Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. -High school diploma or equivalent (required). -Experience with a variety of glass types, including tempered, insulated, laminated, and custom glass. -Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (required). -Experience with mobile application relevant to your job responsibilities or being comfortable using mobile technology to record and report work related functions. -Ability to assess damage and determine the best repair or replacement solutions. -Certification from a recognized trade school or apprenticeship program (preferred). -Must be able to work in a variety of environments, including construction zones, and follow all safety protocols.
