Overview

Lead and manage HV transmission, substation, and distributed infrastructure projects.

Tasks

-Responds to RFPs and prepares proposals for services and/or EPC work. -Leads project team in conceptual design and procurement phases of substation projects. -Manages schedule, budget, and scope of services and/or EPC projects. -Interfaces between the client, external stakeholders, and internal stakeholders to ensure project success. -Execute projects that have substantial impact within various communities -Actively promotes the safety culture.

What You Bring

-All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations. -Ability to work in both a corporate and field environment. -Experience in multiple phases of project execution. -PE, P.Eng or equivalent professional license. -Typical office environment, typical construction environment, extreme weather conditions, high noise level, safety hazards (electric currents, working on scaffolding and high places, exposure to chemicals), atmospheric conditions (fumes, odors, dusts, mists, gases, poor ventilation). Sitting, walking, talking, hearing, reading, writing, keyboarding, driving, filing, reaching, stooping, crouching, bending, standing for extended periods of time, lifting or carrying up to 40 pounds. -Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. -7 - 10+ years of relevant industry experience -Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or relevant degree. -Own a diversity of projects within the electric grid space including both innovative and proven technologies -Experience with overhead and/or under ground transmission line projects or substation projects.
