Tasks

-Ensuring customer service -Batches concrete mix according to customer requests and design specifications. -Quality control tasks such as moisture checks, slump tests, air entrainment tests and temperature of materials. -Ensure compliance with safety, health and environmental policies -Oversee materials are placed in appropriate bins. -Ensures Hours of service are followed and enforced -Inspect plant equipment and notify management of maintenance and repairs as needed. -Coordinates incoming materials and maintain proper inventory levels as needed. -Daily and monthly inventory -Supervises drivers resolving employee behavior, work schedule, load quality, reviews and approves payroll, attendance, disciplinary action and performs annual reviews. -Review pre-trip and post-trip driver logs. -Verify batching orders received from dispatch facility. -Maintains an accuracy of driver and customer ticket order scheduling -Maintain preventative maintenance logs for the plant -Maintains housekeeping tasks of plant office and premises to conform to company and legal standards. -Responsible for collection of COD daily. -Accurately loads ready mix trucks for delivery as scheduled -Conduct monthly safety meetings. -Schedule drivers based on customer demand

What You Bring

-Must be able to lift-up to 50 pounds in weight -Must possess, or be able to obtain, a DOT certification -Demonstrates proficiency in difficult and high-pressure situations. -Must be able to climb silos up to 100 feet -Motor Vehicle Record Check -5-Panel Drug Screen (DOT if applicable) -Fit for Duty Baseline Physical (DOT if applicable) -Must be able to pass a background check, fitness for duty evaluation, and pre-employment drug testing. -Ability to follow and add to safety culture to create a safe work environment. -Ability to work well with others. -High school education or GED equivalent. -Must be able to work in a heavy industrial environment, exposed to weather elements and noise. -Able to follow verbal and written instructions.
