Senior Engineer - Planning

Description

A planning discipline role reporting to departmental head. Responsible for preparing all deliverables required for an implementation of a construction plan for the project and co-ordination with site team for successful implementation of the same. The role involves but is not limited to preparing and tracking project schedules, receiving progress weekly and monthly progress reports from sites. Although most part of the role is expected to be related to ensuring technical quality of deliverables and significant role is aimed at guiding site staff so that the team remains at a high level of operational efficiency in order to meet targets and company standards.

• Preparation of Baseline Schedules for multiple Residential Projects and associated development in Microsoft Project software
• The preparation, control, tracking and distribution of the MSP schedules and ensuring issue of latest version at site.
• Preparation of MIS report
• Preparation of Site visit (Progress Review) Report
• Timely inform site team for slippage of any activity/activities and critical activity /activities
• Providing individual and collective feedback to technical staff on all projects.
• Remaining up to date with best practices and current legislation in technical field
• Preparation of weekly / monthly targets for site team.
• Tracking and monitoring the Progress of the project as per MSP schedule.
• Preparation of contract plan and / procurement schedule based on the above

Requirements

Detail-oriented, organized, and effective in cross-functional communication.

5 – 8 yrs. of experience in real estate or construction.

Knowledge of project lifecycle, i.e. from excavation and RCC works till finishing and handover of the project

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering

• Awareness/ Exposure on various Construction/System methodologies
• Ability to manage multiple projects at a time
• Solid verbal and writing skills
• Robust knowledge of planning software MS Projects
• Strong interpersonal skills
• People management skill
