Tasks

-Develop, implement and audit compliance with stakeholders the ADA Dimensional Control Standard. -Provide regular reporting on accuracy control metrics and performance outcomes to senior management, highlighting risks and opportunities for improvement. -Lead proactive Quality Assurance activities to ensure dimensional and accuracy control processes are consistently applied by ADA Suppliers to meet specified quality standards. -Ensuring Dimensional Control activities adhere to the requirements of the relevant Project Delivery plans, and the ADA Quality Management System, tailored where necessary to meet the specific needs of Projects. -Train and support Quality Assurance team members in accuracy control procedures and best practices to ensure consistent application across projects. -Develop with stakeholders Project Accuracy Control Plans. -Monitor ADA Supplier Dimensional Control operations to ensure they are executed safely, efficiently, and are to the highest quality standards. -Work with Subcontractor Dimensional Control organisations to ensure an integrated approach is taken to the management of accuracy control requirements. -Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying technology and process enhancements that improve quality, productivity, and cost-effectiveness across the shipbuilding value stream. -Manage non-conformance processes including identification, documentation, and resolution of issues in IFS, ensuring compliance with prescribed standards. -Monitor ADA Supplier Accuracy Control tests and inspections in alignment with the Project Mission System Inspection Test Plans (ITP), ensuring timely and compliant execution.

What You Bring

-Internal auditor training (nationally accredited) -Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Shipbuilding or in an Accuracy Control role -Proficient in using measurement tools and software for dimensional analysis -Effective communication – you will be required to communicate with stakeholders at multiple organisational levels across multiple Suppliers. -Proficiency with high-precision measurement instruments -Strong analytical and problem-solving skills -Diploma or higher qualification in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, Quality Control, Quality Control, Quality Assurance, or other related discipline
