Manage highway projects, overseeing budgets, timelines, resources and client communication.

Tasks

-Liaise with other delivery managers regarding supervision of works, including establishing required resource levels -Review design and contractual options during the design process -Deliver works programme to programme and budget -Communicate and inform the client of progress at regular intervals as the works progress -Developing experience and expertise in the field of project management, probably gained in an Assistant Project Manager role or equivalent -Develop and maintain procedures to achieve certainty of programme delivery -Comply with all relevant health and safety legislation -Review success of solutions and provide feedback to all relevant parties -Ensure that projects are delivered to time and budget in accordance with programme and financial commitment -Use construction solutions that cause minimum disruption -Oversee measurement and valuation of work carried out -Work closely with commercial and financial managers -Brief line managers on quality, cost and time
