Tasks

-Monitor KPIs and analytics to assess tool effectiveness, user adoption, and project performance. -Leverage data-driven insights to proactively identify risks, optimize resource utilization, and improve decision-making across project lifecycles. -Stay abreast of Hexagon’s latest innovations (e.g., HxGN SDx, Smart Cloud, SPO) and recommend strategic upgrades. -Architect and manage the IT infrastructure for SmartPlant deployment, including cloud/on-premise servers, databases, and network configurations. -Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, SOPs, and knowledge repositories for SmartPlant tools and workflows. -Drive digital transformation initiatives to enhance engineering productivity, data integrity, and project delivery timelines. -Define and enforce digital engineering standards, data governance models, and workflows across multi-disciplinary projects. -Champion the integration of SmartPlant with enterprise systems (e.g., SAP, AVEVA, Autodesk) to enable a unified digital thread. -Ensure seamless coordination between IT and engineering teams to enable timely and cost-effective project execution. -Support business development by demonstrating digital engineering capabilities to clients, regulators, and stakeholders. -Lead the end-to-end deployment, integration, and lifecycle management of SmartPlant tools (e.g., SmartPlant P&ID, SmartPlant Instrumentation, Smart 3D, Smart Electrical, SmartPlant Foundation, SPO). -Ensure system scalability, cybersecurity compliance, and high availability across global project environments. -Provide hands-on leadership in the successful delivery of engineering projects, ensuring alignment with defined timelines, budgets, and quality benchmarks. -Collaborate with IT, cybersecurity, and engineering teams to ensure secure, real-time access to engineering data. -Implement automation and digital workflows to reduce manual intervention and improve delivery consistency. -Build internal digital capability through structured training, mentoring, and certification programs (e.g., SmartPlant Admin, ITIL, PMP).

What You Bring

-Proven experience in IT infrastructure planning, system integration, and digital project delivery. -15–20+ years of experience in engineering systems, with at least 5 years in SmartPlant Suite implementation and digital engineering leadership. -SmartPlant Administrator / Implementation Certifications (e.g., SPI, S3D, SPF) -Strong understanding of EPC workflows, asset lifecycle management, and regulatory compliance in sectors like nuclear, oil & gas, or power. -Strong leadership in engineering systems architecture, digital governance, and change management. -Analytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement, automation, and data-driven decision-making. -Deep expertise in SmartPlant tools (including SmartPlant Foundation and SPO) and their integration with enterprise platforms. -ITIL, PMP, or equivalent infrastructure/project management certifications -Exposure to cloud-based engineering environments (e.g., Hexagon Smart Cloud, HxGN SDx) -Diploma, Post Diploma, BE, MTech in Computer Technology -Excellent stakeholder engagement, client-facing, and cross-functional team leadership skills.
