-Demonstrate a strong understanding of current codes of practice, working with all major construction materials. -Have excellent communication skills, with the ability to create clear, practical, and economic design sketches for technicians. -Be comfortable with both hand calculations and spreadsheets, as well as modern 3D modelling design software. -Hold a degree in Civil Engineering (Structures) or equivalent qualifications/experience. -Be technically strong, confident in collaborating with internal teams, external design partners, and clients. -Bring proven experience producing structural calculations and designs across a range of projects, sectors, and materials.
