Principal Environmental Remediation Practice Leader

Lead environmental remediation practice, develop business and manage projects.

Tasks

-Preparing for and participating in meetings with clients, regulatory personnel, and other parties; and -Drive personal, company, and rental vehicles to client or company project or office sites, and other business locations, as needed. -Reviewing and leading preparation of technical documents, drawings, specifications, and proposals; -Strategic business planning to segment and target specific industrial, commercial, and municipal clients for projects such as water supply, water treatment, and water re-use; -At times, the position may also include fieldwork including contractor oversight and process troubleshooting tasks. -Recruiting, managing, and mentoring junior staff and mid-career engineers and scientists; -Implementation of a personal business development plan to expand services and revenue with new and existing clients, in coordination of companywide business development plans;

What You Bring

-Bachelor’s degree in engineering (civil, chemical, or environmental preferred), geology, or a related field. (required) -At least 10 years (15+ years preferred) of direct environmental consulting experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. (required) -Ability to succeed in a fast-paced consulting environment, handling multiple project assignments, meeting strict deadlines, and traveling to client facilities as needed. (required) -Project management and oversight of technical issues/work products; budgeting and budget management; adherence to schedule, quality, health, and safety protocols; client satisfaction; and profitability; -Brownfield redevelopment, and other related projects. (required) -Experience managing multi-disciplinary project teams. (required) -Professional registration (i.e., P.E. P.G.) (preferred) -Demonstrated success in the development and management of clients and growing a practice that sustains a group of professional junior staff. (required) -Excellent leadership and detail-orientation skills. (required) -Demonstrated working knowledge of Federal and California regulations. (required) -Strong oral and technical writing skills. (required) -Valid U.S driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record for business travel. (required) -Candidates must currently hold and maintain valid U.S. work authorization. New H-1B visa lottery and employment based green card sponsorship are not available for this position. -Advanced degree in the same. (preferred) -Demonstrated experience in industrial and municipal clients with remedial investigation/design/construction/operation, maintenance & optimization/closure;

Benefits

-Minimum Salary: $133,055/year / Maximum Salary: $248,470/year (Costa Mesa) -Minimum Salary: $ 139,105 /year / Maximum Salary: $ 259,765 /year (Arcadia)
