Assist with financial reporting, accounting, and analysis for a real‑estate investment trust.

Tasks

-Assist in the timely close of ERES’s month, quarter and year-ends, including responsibility for the monthly recording and analysis of corporate expenses -Prepare quarterly accounting and financial reporting memos and checklists -Assist in preparation of Annual Information Form and Management Information Circular -Assist in the preparation of tax schedules on an annual basis -Assist in special, ad hoc projects relating to CAPREIT and ERES, as assigned -Responsible for internal and external auditor requests, including communication of results and working closely with teams in both Canada and Europe to obtain required documentations -Assist in ERES’s consolidation into Canadian Apartment Properties Real Estate Investment Trust (“CAPREIT”) -Prepare quarterly presentations to Board of Trustees/Audit Committee as well as investors/analysts -Create and coordinate payment and funding processing, including for monthly distributions. -Proactively contribute to corporate reporting and financing process improvements -Assist with the preparation of Management’s Discussion and Analysis (“MD&A”) and Financial Statements on a quarterly and annual basis, as well as earnings and other press releases
