Senior Project Manager overseeing mission-critical infrastructure projects
Key Responsibilities

Tasks
-Ensure that the company processes and tools are being utilized. Monitor Agile reporting and enact change when needed. -Lead and develop a team. -Deliver project-level solutions and deliver the contract. -Ensure there is a plan to meet all contractual requirements. -Build a strong partnership with the General Contractor and owner(s). -Foster a close working relationship with field leadership and engage them in Agile and other company processes. -Monitor PM functions and ensure that pre-job planning tasks are being completed prior to work starting. -Share your experience and lessons learned from similar projects with the project team. Ensure there is a plan to mitigate any concerns. -Own a customer account; build a long-term relationship with the prospect of future work. -Be a resource to help new recruits learn and understand Aldridge business processes. -PROJECT PLANNING – Facilitate project planning. -Develop a successor and a succession plan for continued growth opportunity and back tier. -Foster customer relationships. -Develop and execute a strong financial plan for your projects (accurate project financials, status presentation, positive cash flow, cash collections). -PROJECT EXECUTION – Drive a project through the entire Aldridge Project Lifecycle. -CUSTOMER FOCUS – Foster customer relationships. -Identify and document the roles and responsibilities of the management team on each project. -Regularly visit your job sites and lead by example. -Elevate critical job issues to the Division Manager or Vice President. -Facilitate project planning, delivery and execution. -Ensure a safety plan is developed and adhered to. -Direct the activities of Assistant Project Managers and Project Managers, train them in their roles and responsibilities and hold them accountable. -Sign-off on or create all change order requests to the Customer. -Ensure billings are up to date and rectify any underbilling or collection issues. -Ensure that monthly project status reports are accurate. -MENTORING AND COACHING – Lead and develop your team. -Drive projects through the entire Aldridge Project Lifecycle. -Influence support staff and cross-divisional resources.

What You Bring
-Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Business Management or other construction-related major. Equivalent construction or Union trade background is also considered. -Ability to prioritize and manage time for yourself and others -10+ years of relevant work experience -Problem solving and critical thinking skills -Willing to travel -Proficient in estimating, scheduling, budgeting costs, field supervision, financial reporting and client relationships -Experience leading a team and mentoring subordinates -Knowledge and understanding of electrical, mechanical, structural, civil, and architectural plans as they relate to schedules, cost and performance -Proficient in Google Suite, Primavera Project and Contract Management and Bluebeam. -Excellent written and verbal communication skills and relationship skills at all levels, including clients, owners, field and office personnel
