The Role

Overview

Oversee pre‑construction and construction activities for complex data‑center projects.

Tasks

-Develop, manage, and implement project schedules, adjusting as necessary and collaborating closely with the Project Management team. -Lead Lean methodologies on-site, including standard work and Pull-Plan sessions, and drive a culture of continuous improvement. -Promote a safe working environment by leading safety meetings and ensuring compliance with OSHA and other regulations. -Complete project closeout tasks including punch list execution, commissioning, final inspections, and owner training. -Work with the Quality Control team to meet project-specific requirements and implement site-specific Quality Control plans. -Align project budgets for labor, materials, and equipment with Project Management, assessing cost projections and expenditures. -Oversee field staff, subcontractors, and suppliers, ensuring efficient daily huddles, weekly work plans, job site coordination, and material deliveries. -Manage all pre-construction tasks including the development of crisis management plans, schedules, site logistics, and safety plans. -Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, design teams, and subcontractors. -Select subcontractors, write RFIs, and track the procurement of materials, tools, and equipment in collaboration with the Project Management team. -Ensure on-site documentation such as drawings, logs, and inspection books are current and assist in documenting As-Built drawings. -Support and adhere to standard work procedures.

-Project management expertise in construction, with a focus on commercial and data center projects. -Experience with large or complex projects. -10+ years of experience in construction management. -Strong estimation and working with subcontractors. -Proficiency in construction management software such as Procore. -Experience in healthcare, education, manufacturing, or large commercial construction.
