Tasks

-Identify and escalate areas of concern within proposals, seeking guidance from SME’s. -Employees must conduct assigned tasks and duties in a safe manner, in accordance with instructions, and comply with all Health, Safety & Environmental rules, policy, procedures, regulations and codes of practice. -Support customer-facing activities, including presenting proposals and participating in client clarification meetings as required. -Lead and participate in proposal review meetings, presenting bid strategies, pricing and technical clarifications. -Develop cost build-ups and apply appropriate margins aligned with CRC Evans’ operational margin and revenue targets. -All employees have a duty to take care of their own health and safety and that of others affected by their actions at work. -Make requests to and Coordinate with the wider Proposal Team, Commercial, Engineering and Operations functions to gather necessary inputs for proposals. -Analyse client needs to identify the correct solutions and equipment, producing compliant and technically sound proposals. -Employees must co-operate with management and co-workers to help everyone meet their legal obligations. -Isolated occasional travel to visit customers / regional offices. -Maintain adherence to CRC Evans’ QHSE policies and procedures during the tendering process -Work to tight deadlines while ensuring attention to detail and compliance with internal governance processes. -Prepare tenders and costings ensuring accuracy in line with customer requirements and company strategy. -Employees must follow any instructions or health, safety & environmental training provided by the company and report any hazards, injuries or ill health that present a serious and imminent risk and inform your line manager about any shortcomings you identify within your health and safety arrangements. -Log and maintain records of tender activities and progress within CRM and proposal tracking systems.

What You Bring

The Proposals Coordinator supports the proposals team with tender preparation, cost compilation and documentation. This role requires strong organisational abilities and the capacity to manage multiple workstreams under supervision. -Ability to interpret customer requirements and translate them into effective technical and commercial proposals. -Level 3 Apprenticeship -OR working towards Degree, or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Construction, Mathematics, or similar. -Experience as an Estimator, ideally within Oil & Gas, Construction, or Engineering sectors. -Confident to support and input within internal meetings and customer-facing discussions. -Experience in preparation of tenders and proposals. -Attention to detail under pressure -Understanding of cost build-ups, pricing strategy, and margin application aligned with business objectives. -Technical knowledge of pipeline construction and/or general construction processes. -OR relevant experience in tendering/estimating in a similar role -Strong team ethic. -Good IT skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. -Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills. -Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
