Oversee HSE compliance for commercial fit‑out and warehouse projects in Abu Dhabi

Tasks

-Development and implementation of HSE management plans, processes and procedures. -Provide leadership and direction to project teams, fostering a culture of awareness and continuous improvement. -Prepare and present regular project HSE reports to senior management and the client, detailing progress, challenges and solutions etc. -Guide and mentor project team members, promoting professional development and knowledge sharing. -Monitors project progress and team performance, implementing corrective actions as necessary to address any deviations from the project plans. -Coordinate with project stakeholders, including clients, supervision consultants, contractors, vendors and regulatory authorities to ensure alignment and compliance with project requirements. -Monitors compliance with HSE plans, policies, and protocols, perform audits from time to time. -Foster strong relationships with clients and other stakeholders to maintain project support and mitigate any concerns.

What You Bring

-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels. -In-depth knowledge of ISO 14001 and 18001 processes, procedures and requirements -Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities under tight deadlines. -Bachelor’s degree. -Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. -In-depth knowledge of project management methodologies and tools. -Proven experience in a similar role on programmes with a similar scope. -Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively. -UAE/regional construction experience is important -ISO 18001 and 14001 Lead Auditor certification -Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal in English. -10+ years of experience in projects. -A proactive approach to risk management and conflict resolution. -Exceptional leadership and team management abilities.
