Tasks

-Receiving Field Expediting Progress Reports and updating the relevant systems -Expediting the engineering team for timely document approvals. -Obtain quotations for field expediting plans and CV's of 3rd party expediting providers -Liaison with Field Expediting Suppliers to co-ordinate Expediting visits -Setting Expediting follow up dates in the relevant system -Establishes priorities, assigns workloads and review the more difficult and complex aspects of the expediting workload -Responsible for the Desk and Field Expediting of all Project Purchase Orders through to FCA readiness. -Notifying Supply Chain Focal Points of any potential Schedule Slippages -Issuing Expediting Reports as required by the project. -Updating system with the Expediting Status of Purchase Orders -Checking Field Expediting Manufacturing Schedules

What You Bring

-Minimum of 10 years expediting experience in the oil and gas industry. -Degree qualification. -Detailed knowledge of Materials and Document Expediting Practices. -Previous use of ERP’s such as Maximo, Oracle, SAP -The individual should have previous experience in a similar level role -Demonstrate commitment to safe working practices -Broad knowledge of Suppliers in the Middle East region and ideally in the UAE and Iraq -Demonstrate commitment to Woods vision, values and behavior -Meaningful and interesting projects Delivered to high profile clients and complex projects in Iraq -Excellent communication skills.
