Assist Project Managers in report interpretation, analysis of project performance and development corrective actions
Advise bid/project teams on our methodology strategies to achieve program and budget requirements;
Implement project planning & monitoring procedure, processes and systems, particularly focusing on time, cost, resources & quality (project controls & earned value)
Prepare tender programs and supporting documentation as required.
Assist teams in building custom reports to suit a number of key customers and contract deliverables
Actively contribute to the pre-contracts/delivery team efforts in development of construction methodologies, delivery/traffic strategies, staging/zoning, productivity rates, Inclement Weather Allowance, etc.
Proactively lead a planning and controls culture across the project based on best practice
Participate and actively contribute to the identification of and response to project risks and opportunities;
Measure and report program/project performance based on KPI's and Earned Value Analysis
Compile and collate reference and benchmarking data for future planning purposes in accordance with the Basis of Schedule.
Adopting and driving Fulton Hogan's Living Safely Culture.
Develop and maintain master/construction programs in either MS Project or Primavera P6;

Your previous site experience as a site/project engineer in construction/delivery, planning project controls, forecasting and project management of a different infrastructure projects including roads and bridges, structures, light and heavy rail, airports, wind farms, etc will make you an ideal candidate for the job
A relevant Engineering/Construction degree or equivalent
A basic understanding of planning and scheduling principles and software including MS Project and (potentially) Primavera P6,
You must be a team player with excellent communication skills and abilities to work within a busy team environment, but yet someone who, when required, is capable of working on their own with minimum or no supervision
Experience in developing and maintaining weekly and monthly lookahead programs and progress reports
You must be an innovative Planning Engineer with an eye for detail, a problem-solving attitude, together with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
