Locate and mark underground utilities, hand dig, and operate equipment for gas utility work.

Tasks

-Pot hole (hand digging with shovel), enter and exit excavations with or without ladders and use power/hand tools. -Locate and mark utilities with paint. -Will need to complete all paperwork for daily truck and equipment inspection. -Install appropriate traffic control to secure work site and machine.

• class c
• oq certified

What You Bring

-Minimum 1 year experience -Needs to be able to operate equipment on jobsite. -Needs to be able to hand dig with shovel. -Class C drivers license -Needs to be able to lift a minimum of 90lbs. -OQ certification (Gas Distribution) -Must have the ability to work under hot, cold and rainy weather conditions. -Have basic knowledge of how the locator works and how to work on it. -Individual will need to be able to connect and disconnect reamer. -Must be able to pass OQ and Safety training courses -Employee must be able to stand a minimum of 8hrs.
