Civil Apprentice

Overview

Assist engineers on construction sites, learning surveying, documentation, and coordination.

Tasks

-Participate in internal meetings and reviews to understand project planning and timelines. -Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and suppliers for material and work execution. -Learn and understand project drawings, layouts, and specifications. -Assist site engineers in day-to-day supervision and site execution activities. -Support in quantity surveying, material estimation, and measurement of work. -Assist in maintaining site documentation such as daily progress reports, material records, and checklists. -Monitor progress of construction and report deviations, if any. -Undertake any other learning assignments as guided by the site in-charge or project head. -Observe and support quality checks and safety measures at the construction site.

What You Bring

Master's degree completed candidates or pursuing a Master's degree are not eligible for this role. -Exposure to large-scale residential, commercial, or hospitality projects. -Good analytical and problem-solving ability. -Willingness to learn and adapt to site conditions. -Team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills. -Attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety. -On-the-job training from experienced engineers and project managers. -Proficiency in MS Office and basic knowledge of AutoCAD (preferred). -Basic understanding of civil engineering principles and construction practices.
