Overview
Manage research billing, reconcile sponsor payments, and support financial queries.

Tasks
-Process payment requests for patient reimbursement and third-party vendors. -Assist with preparation of reports requested by the Finance department. -Utilize CTMS or financial software to track clinical trial revenue. -Attend finance meetings and assist other departments with patient account discrepancies. -Provide cross-coverage with Research Billing compliance specialists. -Develop and maintain tracking metrics for research finance. -Perform payments reconciliation for clinical research. -Serve as a financial resource for clinical site staff and research patients. -Troubleshoot internal department billing processes. -Resolve outstanding patient bills and disputes with the Finance department. -Invoice and track payments from clinical trial sponsors. -Conduct annual billing training for research staff and as-needed for new hire orientation. -Review budgets, reports, and transfer charges in hospital billing systems. -Maintain strong communication with ancillary departments and outside vendors. -Prepare monthly reports capturing and applying research payments to aged accounts. -Maintain DSA forms and documentation for clinical patient accounts.

What You Bring
-Experience with digital accounts for patients. -Experience in clinical research and compliance. -Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Sciences, or equivalent HS diploma. -Experience with CTMS. -Experience with billing and collections processes. -Organizational skills. -Ability to navigate EPIC systems. -2 years of experience with billing/coding and/or financial business operations. -Knowledge of research and Medicare coverage analysis.
