The Role

Overview

Manage warehouse shipping/receiving, inventory, SAP, and coordinate with branch operations.

Tasks

-Process all transactions in SAP according to standard procedure, create shipping papers using the preferred carriers’ software application -Support the service van parts replenishment process, keep accurate inventory levels and participate in the inventory count process as dictated by policy/procedure, execute the goods return procedure for the branch -Communicate with internal parties to coordinate delivery of parts and materials to meet project/service demand, retain documentation necessary for follow-up and proof of delivery and inventory -Working with cross-functions (e.g., project managers, service technicians) -General housekeeping of the warehouse, enforce and maintain safety in the warehouse, adhere to standard warehouse guidelines and follow Siemens' policies -Provide detail-orientation, accuracy, and organization in all work. -Receive inbound deliveries, move parts and materials into inventory and/or job stock, pick parts and materials for outbound deliveries. -Material handling – movement of parts and materials (in boxes) using the appropriate handling equipment

What You Bring

-Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) -For Senior Level: 3+ years’ experience working in a warehouse in a material handling and logistics function -Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship -6+ months experience working in a warehouse in a material handling and logistics function -SAP - IM (Inventory Management) and WM (Warehouse Management) modules -SAP experience – other SCM related modules (Purchasing, Accounting, Planning, etc.) -Must be able to demonstrate responsiveness and thorough customer service approach and the ability to work independently (supervised remotely) -High School Diploma or state-recognized GED -Must be 21 years of age and possess a valid driver's license with limited violations -Verbal and written communication skills in English -Variety of supply chain management experience -Associate’s degree in related technical field preferred, but not necessary
