Coordinate ISO compliance, audits, training, and quality improvement in manufacturing.

Tasks

-Provide suggestions for improvements and assist in implementing changes. -Maintain and improve documentation and assets. -Issue and maintain training for all plant personnel. -Gather symptoms of a problem, formally define the problem, and document information from a variety of sources. -Manage document control for the production floor. -Internally audit manufacturing processes to documented procedures. -Develop project plans when necessary to facilitate successful completion of changes, and/or new implementations. -Assist in preparing and maintaining product documentation, technical guides, and user manuals. -Analyze requirements, procedures, and problems to automate processing or to improve existing business systems. -Host and escort first- second- and third-party auditors through the company QMS and manufacturing processes on and off the production floor. -Analyze and report quality issues and key performance indicators. -Confer with all personnel involved to analyze current operational procedures and identify gaps.

What You Bring

-Ability to analyze information and strong data reporting skills. -A thorough understanding and proficiency with ISO Standards ISO 9001 -Experience with supporting auditing efforts -Experience and demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, environmental database applications, and creating/delivering presentations. -Demonstrates strong multi-tasking capabilities and organizational skills. -Communicates effectively in written and spoken formats. -Must tolerate dusty work environment commonly found in heavy weld fabrication setting -Periodic visits to the manufacturing floor with seasonal hot and cold temperatures, and dust environment. -Works effectively in a fast-paced high-pressure environment. -Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required with commensurate experience. -Able to set tasks. -Works effectively in a team environment. -Must tolerate both high and low temperatures, and loud noises commonly found in manufacturing setting -Exhibits good decision-making and problem-solving abilities. -Knowledge of production processes and equipment -2 plus years of relevant and related work experience within quality in a manufacturing environment, preferably in heavy industrial manufacturing
