Overview
Estimate civil/highway construction costs, oversee takeoffs, coordinate with teams.

Tasks
-Cooperate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather essential information and insights for the estimating process -Oversee the development of quantity take-offs, cost breakdowns, and labor and material pricing for precise and competitive bids. -Provide regular progress reports to senior management, keeping them informed about project status. -Supervise subcontractors and vendors, ensuring timely completion of work within budgetary constraints. -Analyze project specifications, blueprints, and other documentation to identify potential risks, opportunities, and value engineering options. -Assist the estimating team in preparing accurate and comprehensive cost estimates

What You Bring
-Proficiency in using estimating software and tools, such as Bluebeam, HCSS, ProEst, On-Screen Takeoff, or similar applications. -Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities and work efficiently under pressure. -Minimum of 5 years of experience in Preconstruction and/or Estiamting for civil, road/highway and/or bridge projects. -Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. -Excellent communication, leadership, and team management abilities. -Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field is preferred -Proven track record of successfully working on projects valued over $10M
