Tasks

-Ensure compliance with regulatory, security, and operational standards -Develop the long-term architectural strategy for the Public Safety portfolio aligned with business goals and market trends. -Review and approve designs and technology choices across teams -Identify architectural risks and propose mitigation strategies -Establish and enforce architectural principles, standards, and best practices -Ensure chosen technologies support scalability, performance, and reliability -Assess and recommend technologies, tools, frameworks, and platforms -Ensure that all public safety products are interoperable and meet performance expectations -Lead technical due diligence for vendor and tool selection -Act as a solution bridge between technical product teams, product management, and executive leadership -Ensure architectural consistency across public safety products, platforms, and technologies

What You Bring

-10+ years of experience required in an architect or engineering leadership position. -Experience with applying AI or Generative AI technologies in software products. -Hands-on experience with a wide variety of modern software development, CI/CD, and cloud infrastructure frameworks, and the ability to explain the pros and cons of each to achieve business goals. Experience with cloud services and solution architecture. Experience with Azure is a significant plus. -Experience architecting and implementing public safety enterprise solutions. -B.S. degree in Computer Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or other related degrees. -Experience in designing and implementing highly usable software with modern Web-based and mobile UI technologies. -Experience in techniques for data warehousing and analytics. Experience with Snowflake is required. -15+ years of overall software engineering experience are required. -Experience in designing and implementing highly scalable cloud-based solutions.
