The Role

Overview

Lead electrical engineering projects, develop design packages and provide field support.

Tasks

-Reviews vendor and contractor bids and assists in procurement. -Develops electrical design packages. Packages to include but are not limited to load lists, one lines, circuit schedules, lighting, grounding, cable tray, underground plans, layouts, area classification, 3D model review, and project lead reports. -Sizes and rates electrical equipment needed to perform required project functions. -Ensures Quality of Engineering Deliverables -Responds to questions from the field team during construction. -Reviews deliverables for engineering correctness and constructability. -Quality - Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness; looks for ways to improve and promote quality; applies feedback to improve performance; monitors own work to ensure quality. -The position does not have any regular responsibility for overseeing or supervising the work of other team members. -Facilitates interaction between departments, including completing a RACI model (Responsible, Accountable, Consulted, and Informed) interdepartmental check. -Creates electrical equipment specifications and datasheets. -Completes electrical reports, calculations, and studies. -Performs engineering tasks within the engineer's background, education, and licensure knowledge base.
