Tasks

-Recruit, hire, and develop onboarding paperwork and training schedules for new Members joining the department -Responsible for being a brand ambassador, cultivating community relationships and networking with key local clients in the community -Develop training materials to teach client development to staff, generating repeat business, client appointments and distant selling -Create a positive work environment through coaching, mentoring and ensuring all personnel policies are followed. -Oversee monitoring and execution of daily staff payroll goals, individual targets, product knowledge, and promotional events -Maintain and uphold exceptional customer service standards -Develop and maintain professional relationships with vendors and ensure contractual obligations are adhered to -Maintain and uphold all visual standards, in store product placement and window displays -Ensuring product knowledge trainings are delivered on all new vendors, product categories and new deliveries -Maintains relationships with cross functional partners to support the needs of the business -Recruit, train, schedule, and manage staff to ensure excellent service and productivity -Initiates any disciplinary action deemed necessary and maintain proper documentation of store leadership and staff in accordance with Company standards -Creating in store shopping events, experiences and hosting VIP guests -Adhere to Loss Prevention and inventory control/compliance procedures -Oversee customer service issues, offering recommendations and options to ensure customer satisfaction -Responsible for analyzing sales data and composing weekly recaps to the Executive board -Schedule regular team meetings, communicating strategy, product assortment and operations

What You Bring

-Strong suggestive selling skills, link selling and cross selling all categories -Ability to use a calculator and calculate percentages and ratios -Experience in luxury retail sales management preferred -Bachelor’s degree in business administration, hospitality, or related field and/or equivalent combination of education and experience. -Excellent interpersonal skills supporting a team environment -Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software and ability to operate general office equipment -Ability to multi-task, while maintaining attention to customers and remaining flexible to the needs of the business. -Strong leadership, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills -Owns personal development; actively listens and is open to feedback, direction and guidance -Ability to work as part of a team and take initiative, problem solve, work independent of direct supervision. -Five (5) years of retail management preferred -Passion for fashion and knowledgeable on current trends and styles -Ability to maintain confidential information -Ability to perform basic math functions such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division -Must be willing and able to work a flexible schedule that meets the needs of the business to include nights, weekends, and holidays -Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail -Ability to effectively communicate with customers, peers and management -Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills to deal effectively with customers, other management, staff, and other outside contacts -Full understanding of specialty retail, visual merchandising and store operations -Ability to provide leadership and direction contributing to the success of the organization through engaging, developing, and mentoring individuals and teams -Knowledgeable of brands/lifestyle -Excellent written and verbal communication skills
