Air quality engineer consulting on emissions, permits, and regulatory compliance.

Tasks

-Critically reviewing and interpreting local, state, and federal environmental regulations. -Estimating air emissions and conducting engineering evaluations of air pollution sources. -Conducting site visits to industrial facilities as may be required to understand operations, gather data/information, and inform the evaluations described above. -Preparing air quality permit applications and negotiating draft permit terms and conditions with applicable regulating entities.

What You Bring

-3+ years of experience as above including proposal writing, report writing, project management and client development skills -Working as a team to contribute technical skills on complex projects, and contributing to proposal preparation, technical presentations and client meetings. -Ability to manage technically complex projects -Strong technical skills, attention to detail, and excellent oral and written communication skills -Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Civil, Chemical, Mechanical or Environmental Engineering with the ability to obtain or already have a Professional Engineer license. -Strong computing skills including high level use of spreadsheets and word processing
