Overview

Tasks

-Conduct record-keeping to ensure all necessary observations are documented -Monitor and inspect roadway construction to ensure overall compliance regarding plans, safety, and contract requirements -Perform a variety of on-site quality control tests, inspections, and project-specific observations/evaluations -Communicate effectively with colleagues and client representatives -Interpret and work from drawings and specifications

What You Bring

-ACI certification is required -Minimum of 5 years of experience in relevant roadway testing -Ability to carry required instruments and equipment -Ability to lift 50 pounds -Physically mobile in and around construction sites and field assignments -The worker is subject to variable climate and environmental conditions including but not limited to extreme cold and heat. -Radiation safety training for the use of Nuclear Density Gauge is required -High School Diploma/GED -Must have a valid driver’s license and be insurable -Candidate should be a Georgia Department of Transportation RTT Certified Technician
