The Role

Overview

Supervises asbestos, demolition and construction crews to ensure safe, efficient project completion.

Tasks

-Ensure implementation of project specific work plans -Responsible for getting job completed in a safe and efficient manner -Coordinate onsite work -Supervise and direct field crews and subcontractors -Interface and communicate with clients in a professional manner -Operate and maintain heavy equipment preferred, but not required. -Oversee delivery and off-loading of supplies and materials. -Manage crew’s labor and equipment time to achieve maximum productivity and meet budgets -Complete daily field reports.

What You Bring

-Torch cutting and Rigging experience preferred, but not required. -OSHA 10 and HAZWOPER 40 required. If not current, willing to get certificate within 30 days of hire. -High School Diploma, GED, or vocational schooling preferred, but not required -Qualified Candidate must be able to pass a physical examination by medical professional for the anticipated work requirements. -Minimum of 2 years related field experience with construction and management -Must be able to pass a background check and be able to obtain access to military bases across the United States. -Ability to manage budgets and schedules preferred, but not required. -Ability to read blueprints and drawings -40 hour Asbestos Supervisor certification required. -Minimum of 1 year experience as an Asbestos, Demolition or Construction Supervisor -Must be able to perform tasks that involve bending, lifting, walking, carrying, and using a force equal to lifting 50 to 100 pounds. -A valid driver’s license is required, as well as a safe driving record as measured by company policy.
