Residential Electrician Helper

Overview

Assist electricians with wiring, installation, and site prep in residential projects.

Tasks

-Help install electrical components including; outlets, lights, switches, and fixtures. -Assist electricians during rough-in by measuring, cutting, and bending wire using hand and power tools. -Promptly report any unsafe working conditions or incidents to the appropriate person. -Communicate effectively with team members and take direction from supervisors and licensed electricians. -Carry, hold, and organize materials required for completing projects. -Maintain a clean and safe work area.

What You Bring

-Ability to follow instructions and work independently when needed. -Strong teamwork and communication skills. -Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus. -Basic problem-solving and organizational skills. -Texas Electrical Apprenticeship -Ability to pass all required safety training, background checks, and drug screening. -Ability to read and interpret blueprints is a plus. -Willingness to travel occasionally and work in various locations as needed. -High school diploma or GED. -Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. -Knowledge of the National Electric Code (NEC) is a plus.
