Tasks

-Working with engineers and other drafters in the creation of construction drawings for underground transmission lines including: plan and profile drawings, detail drawings, cover sheet, and notes. -Performing quality assurance checks on construction drawings -Collaborating in both in-person meetings and virtual conference calls -Organizing projects and their subsequent files and documents in ProjectWise -The successful candidate will work with underground transmission line engineers and drafters to complete the following activities:

What You Bring

-Experience opportunities can include field visits and coordination with contractors and clients -Experience with drawing creation for Power Delivery (transmission, substation, distribution) -Experience interpreting surveys -Associate degree in drafting (or equivalent technical degree) -3 or more years drafting experience with MicroStation and/or AutoCAD -Strong written and oral communications skills -Strong experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D or MicroStation -Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel -Working knowledge of survey coordinate systems
