Tasks

-Engage in opportunities through the Origin Foundation to support your community. -design and implementation of automated test frameworks -Assist leads and managers in establishing and enforcing best practices for QA processes, test automation, including framework design, coding standards, and test data management. -review of test code, documentation, and handover materials -Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes, frameworks, and toolchains, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and efficiency. -Work effectively with business analysis, development, and architectural teams to ensure quality is embedded in the functional and technical direction of Energy Trading Technology systems. -creation and maintenance of test data sets for automated test execution -creation and maintenance of test scripts -test case planning, design, and execution of both automated and manual tests -Explore unique and cost-effective employee EV Car subscriptions. -Provide insight and reporting on test progress, with clear attribution to deliverables, test coverage, and overall quality metrics. -Build new systems, patterns, and practices that set the standard for delivery -Provide testing (automation and manual), and support services for ETRM systems across all phases of the software development lifecycle with particular focus on: -Create test automation outcomes ensuring alignment with business goals, quality standards, and testing strategy. -Serve as a subject matter expert on test automation tools, processes, and emerging technologies, driving innovation and influencing cross-functional teams on quality engineering practices. -preparation of test-related technical documentation -execution and maintenance of automated regression suites -integration of automated tests into CI/CD pipelines

What You Bring

-Experienced in integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins) with Git-based version control. -Strong knowledge of API testing (REST/GraphQL) using tools such as Postman or RestAssured. -functional and non-functional test analysis -Familiar with cloud environments (preferably AWS) and Agile delivery practices with a focus on quality throughout the lifecycle. -Skilled in programming or scripting languages such as Python, Java, C#, or JavaScript. -Proven experience designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks in enterprise environments. -Hands-on experience with automation frameworks and tools like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Robot Framework. -Proficient in SQL for test data analysis, preparation, and database integration.
