The Role

Overview

Drive sales, build relationships, and service roofing/gutter customers in a new territory.

Tasks

-Maintain working relationships with existing and new clients to ensure that they receive exceptional service and to identify potential new sales opportunities. -Identify prospects, set appointments, make effective qualifying sales calls. -Manage sales cycle to close new businesses and develop new opportunities. -Achieve sales goals by assessing current client needs and following a defined selling process with potential buyers, often including product demos and presentations. -Prepare concise and accurate reports, Request for Quotation (proposals), including package or any other relevant to the customer. -Coordinate with other sales representatives to ensure that quotas are being met and company standards are being upheld. -Provides outstanding customer service to customers; maintains ongoing relationships with building contractors. -Stays current on building material trends and building codes to support customers.

What You Bring

-Capable of reading blueprints and developing material lists from plans is preferred. -Proven track record of developing new accounts. -Strong interpersonal and organizational skills to work effectively with various levels in the organization. -3+ years with construction materials and distributors -High School or AS's degree or equivalent years of experience -Clean Motor Vehicle record and reliable transportation -Computer skills able to work on laptop, video calls, fulfilling orders and quotes. -Strong written and oral communication skills, including editing, oversight or preparation of Sales reports, and presentations. -Ability to exercise sound and independent judgment within general company policy guidelines. -Possesses a deep understanding of the geographic market and effective at sourcing new customers in the region. -Ability to understand and manage high-profile, sensitive, or controversial customer complaints and situations. -Ability to maintain track of Key Performance Indicators of the business. -Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, and organizational skills. -Able to lift at least 50-75 pounds. -Knowledge of construction materials, methods, codes for roofing solutions. -An outgoing personality focused on customer service and problem-solving. -Positive "can-do" approach to be able to facilitate decision making at all levels within an organization. -Analytic skills sufficient to support client proposals and business growth goals. -Become proficient with Englert products specification for roof and gutter system. -Ability to travel at least 50% of the time to visit customers or Englert FSCs or events.
