Tasks

-Coordinate with other drafting disciplines for model clash detection. -Review construction documents for conformance with project and factory standards. -Monitor progress of manufacturing in conformance with fabrication drawings and collaborate with manufacturing on all inquiries. -Generate fabrication drawings for in-house factory construction. -While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, see, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and reach, stoop kneel. -Coordinate with Guerdon team at all project phases and disciplines. -Complete all additional tasks assigned by management. -Generate BIM framing models for floor/ceiling and/or walls.

What You Bring

Guerdon LLC is seeking an experienced Structural Drafter I. In this position you will be responsible for structural framing aspects of all assigned project(s), including the recommendation of structural solutions. Note: Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis and must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check. -2 years of experience of BIM modeling software, Revit a plus not required. -Strong interpersonal skills with a high degree of professionalism. -Ability to work on-site during regular business hours of 8-5 M-F -Ability to organize and work in a fast-paced environment. -5 years related work experience. -Familiarity with basic elements of building/construction practices, wood framing -Ability to work in shared space. -Must have reliable transportation and stellar attendance with the ability to work overtime when required to meet project deadlines. -Ability to perform physically demanding tasks. -Light to moderately lifting is required. -Learning agility to master new software -Maturity, confidence, and ability to earn respect and trust from the team. -Moderate noise (i.e., business offices with computers, phone, and printers, light traffic). -Associates degree/diploma in drafting preferred
