Overview
Lead creation, delivery, and management of Helix Electric's craft training programs.

Tasks
-Lead tradesperson licensing support efforts, including test preparation, scheduling, and multi-state licensing assistance. -Manage and mentor craft trainers and regional training staff. -Develop, implement, and evaluate craft training curricula and learning plans that address technical, safety, and field leadership skills. -Oversee training center operations, equipment, facilities, and instructional resources. -Direct outreach programs to elementary, middle, and high schools to promote skilled trade careers. -Evaluate training program effectiveness and report on metrics, ROI, and budget performance. -Obtain and maintain continuing education credit (CEU) approvals for Helix University courses. -Pursue training grant opportunities; manage applications, compliance, and reporting. -Identify training needs through gap analysis, workforce assessments, and collaboration with business leaders.

-Crawling - 0 -NCCER Certified Instructor (or ability to achieve certification within 6 months of hire). -Grant & Funding Knowledge: Skilled in identifying, applying for, and managing workforce development and training grants. -Digital Fluency: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Learning Management Systems (LMS), and instructional design tools. -Must be able to safely climb ladders and stairs. -Climbing – O -Frequent travel across the U.S. (up to 50%) required. -Demonstrated success in designing and implementing training curricula, including both classroom and field-based instruction. -Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience managing training or workforce development. programs, preferably in a craft, technical, or construction environment. -Ability to work safely and effectively in austere job-site conditions, including variable weather, uneven terrain, and active construction environments. -Reach Outward - O -Must wear required personal protective equipment at all times on site (helmet, safety glasses, boots, and gloves at all times; respirator when required). -Stakeholder Engagement: Ability to build strong relationships with internal leadership, school leaders, and external partners. -Standing - C -Leadership: Ability to manage training teams, mentor staff, and oversee large-scale training initiatives. -Lifting – O Up to 25 lbs. -Proven ability to secure and manage grant funding or other external workforce development resources. -Knowledge of electrical or construction craft training is preferred. -Strategic Thinking: Ability to connect training initiatives to organizational goals. -Experience leading training needs assessments and gap analyses to identify organizational skill gaps. -Reach Above Shoulder - O -Curriculum Innovation: Competence in developing modern, engaging curricula using e-learning, blended learning, and simulation (AR/VR) methods. -Hearing - C -Must be able to use construction-site sanitary facilities (e.g., portable toilets). -Community Outreach: Experience leading outreach initiatives with schools, workforce agencies, and industry associations.
