Tasks

-Coordinate with architectural, structural, fire & life-safety, sustainability, and specialist disciplines to deliver integrated and efficient building services solutions. -Liaise with local authorities and utility providers (e.g., Dubai Municipality, DEWA, DM, ADDC, and DMT) to secure design approvals, NOCs, and building permits. -Stay updated with the latest MEP codes, sustainability guidelines, and energy efficiency requirements, implementing them across all relevant projects. -Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, verify installation quality, and oversee system testing, commissioning, and handover. -Ensure full compliance with UAE building codes, standards, and local authority requirements, including Dubai Building Code, Abu Dhabi International Mechanical Code, and relevant CIBSE standards. -Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to junior engineers and design teams within the MEP department. -Review, validate, and approve MEP drawings, technical specifications, design calculations, and shop drawings to ensure accuracy and quality. -Lead and oversee detailed MEP design works — including HVAC, electrical distribution, lighting, plumbing, and fire-fighting systems — from concept design to construction documentation and delivery. -Manage and control technical deliverables, project timelines, and budgets, while reporting progress and key issues to senior management.

What You Bring

We are looking for a Senior MEP Engineer to lead and manage the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing design and delivery of high-profile projects in Dubai. The successful candidate will possess extensive technical expertise across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems, combined with a thorough understanding of UAE codes, standards, and authority regulations. This role demands a results-driven professional with strong leadership and coordination skills, capable of overseeing multidisciplinary teams, ensuring design integrity, and driving project excellence from concept to completion. The Senior MEP Engineer will play a key role in maintaining the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and compliance across all project phases. -10–15 years of proven experience in MEP design and project delivery, with at least 5 years in the UAE/GCC region. -Strong experience delivering large-scale commercial, hospitality, or high-rise residential projects. -In-depth knowledge of UAE authority regulations and approval processes (Dubai Municipality, DMT, CIBSE, etc.). -Excellent communication and presentation skills in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage. -Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to coordinate across multiple disciplines. -Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering (Master’s degree preferred). -Professional engineering registration or certification (e.g., UAE PES, CEng, or equivalent) is highly desirable. -Excellent understanding of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, firefighting systems, BMS, and energy-efficient design principles.
