Tasks
-Assess the overall condition and remaining service life of HVAC and other building system components based on construction experience and professional judgment. -Provide supervision and guidance to field staff or survey participants when required. -Conduct and/or support additional site surveys and inspections on an as-needed basis. -Enter collected data accurately using various digital tools (e.g., tablets, laptops, smartphones). -Identify and document building component data for HVAC and related systems at project sites. -Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and other trade surveyors to gather measurements, quantities, and technical details as needed. -Utilize construction knowledge to locate and identify systems that may be concealed behind walls, ceilings, or floors. -Serve as a resource to staff for technical questions and field operations.

What You Bring
Avsar Construction is seeking an experienced Field Supervisor – HVAC to oversee data collection, inspection, and evaluation of mechanical systems across multiple project sites. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building construction and HVAC systems, with the ability to assess existing infrastructure, determine system conditions, and provide professional input to support facility condition assessments and project planning. -Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications. -Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. -Strong understanding of HVAC systems, building components, and general construction methods. -Experience coordinating with project stakeholders such as administrators, architects, engineers, and field staff. -Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. -Candidates without a degree must have at least 10 years of relevant experience. Four of those years may be substituted for the degree requirement on a year-for-year basis. -Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management. -6 or more years of full-time paid professional experience working with on-site construction management teams. -Proficiency in digital data collection and reporting tools.
