Tasks

-Prepare written quotes and contracts for inspection services -Pursue potential clients through existing customer data bases -Assist the customer over the phone in emergency situations -Follow established Allied Fire Protection SOP’s -Attends service meeting as required -Perform pre-inspection that require extensive walking on uneven surfaces in ambient temperatures. -Follow-up with customers in a timely manner to ensure sale is captured

What You Bring

-Must be able to work independently. -A high school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.) -Requires constant mental alertness, corrected vision, hearing to a normal range. -Must possess stamina to perform mental labor for extended periods of time, safely visit job sites and customers during and after hours. -Valid driver’s license and excellent driving record -Proficient in Word, Excel and Outlook -Proven ability and track record of performing work in a timely manner and meeting deadlines -Knowledge with NFPA 13 Fire Protection codes and NFPA 25 -Sales experience is preferred -Must be disciplined and self-motivated to work with limited supervision -Minimum of two years relevant sales experience to include, alarm, sprinkler extinguishers, backflows, monitoring and clean agent systems -Ability to generate sales of new Inspection Agreements and other services using identifying, prospecting, qualifying and other sales techniques -Requires the ability to communicate clearly. -Industry exposure to alarm, sprinkler, extinguisher, emergency exit lights, clean agent suppression systems, monitoring and backflows -Excellent communicator and have great organizational skills with a positive attitude
