Design Manager – Architecture

Oversee architecture projects from concept through construction, managing teams, budgets, and client relations.

Tasks

-Manage a range of project team sizes, comprised of project architects, design directors, job captains and graphic designers -Track financial performance of project -Prepare project proposals, negotiate contracts and fees, coordinate bidding process -Manage all phases of projects, including project set-up, design and construction administration -Manage project scheduling, budgets, and set-up with sub-contractors, vendors and consultants -Create and communicate clear and attainable project objectives and project requirements -Ensure projects conform to contract

What You Bring

-Experience with the entire project lifecycle, through post-occupancy -10-15+ years of related experience in ground up / build to suit architecture projects in one or more of the following typologies: Office, Residential/Mixed Use, Hospitality -AIA preferred -Experience leading, managing and mentoring multiple project teams -Must have the ability to maintain existing client relationships and build new client relationships -Strong leadership, organization, communication and relationship management skills -Accredited degree in Architecture required -Knowledge of building codes, standards and building structures -Proven fiscal accountability and responsibility on projects -Experience negotiating project scope and fees -Revit skills are highly valued
