Strategic planning using a slot planning method for an engineering organization and customer orders of engineered products
Gather and analyze data from various sources to determine required time to perform a task. Perform a statistical analysis and identify possible causes and opportunities for improvements.
Interface with adjacent groups such as commercial, project management, product engineering and drafting and manufacturing
Develop and maintain static and transient engineering projects to support throughput, backlog and forecast. There can be 200+ active engineering projects at one time where durations can be from several months to years.

Strong analytical skills, including ability to recognize, analyze and recommend alternative solutions to problems and issues.
Strong computer skills. excellent verbal, written communication and program solving skills. MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point and others. Working knowledge of cloud-based file sharing platforms such as SharePoint and OneDrive is an advantage.
Willing and able to travel domestically and internationally with short notice (estimated 5-15% travel)
5 years of proven track record scheduling and planning for an engineering organization for a custom engineered product line. Those with more experience may be considered for a more senior level.
Familiarization with rotating machinery / turbomachinery such as centrifugal/radial compressors, axial compressors, expanders, steam turbines, e.g. Turbo Compressor Brands in portfolio: Dresser-Rand / Clark / Ingersoll-Rand, Cooper, Rolls-Royce, Demag, DeLaval is a plus
