Overview

Develop and manage contracts for supply chain projects, ensuring compliance and commercial outcomes.

Tasks

-Lead contract formation and post-award contract administration, including variations, claims, payments, and performance management. -Maintain accurate registers, documentation, and templates. -Prepare, review, and negotiate contract documentation. -Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures. -Support the Supply Chain Manager with subcontracting strategies and planning. -Monitor and report on cost and schedule impacts related to procurement activities. -Develop and implement effective contracting strategies. -Interface directly with clients, suppliers, and contractors to develop robust commercial packages. -Identify and manage commercial risks and support project teams with contractual correspondence.

What You Bring

-Strong understanding of FIDIC, NZS 3910/3916, NEC 3/4, or similar standard forms of contract. -Skilled in contract negotiation, execution, and administration. -Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. -Ability to identify commercial risks and ensure mitigation strategies are in place. -Proven experience in full lifecycle procurement – from enquiry to contract award and post-award management. -A university degree in Quantity Surveying, Project Management, Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
