The Role

Overview

Design and support power delivery & renewable projects as an entry-level electrical engineer.

Tasks

-Collaborating with Designers and CADD Technicians to meet national standards and safety codes -Designing and drafting electrical substations (Low, Medium, High Voltage) -Conducting site visits during design, construction, and commissioning phases -Work alongside 100+ engineers across disciplines -Creating calculations, design sketches, and redline drawings -Developing deliverables like one-line diagrams, protection/control schematics, SCADA schemes, and grounding plans

What You Bring

-Less than 15% travel to project sites -Experience in substation design -Familiarity with AutoCAD and electrical design principles -Strong schematic and troubleshooting abilities -Must reside in Kentucky, Tennessee, or Arkansas ( Can be flexible with the hybrid schedule visiting the onsite office at least 1-2 times per month if not located in Lexington, KY) -EIT certification or plans to take the FE exam -Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
