Tasks

We have an excellent opportunity for a Product Manager of our Rolling Products to develop, execute and own strategy for our product lines under Clopay, Cornell & Cookson brands. This role will be responsible for management of our current line, as well as future innovation. This will include developing a deep understanding of the assigned product and target segments to create plans for new product development efforts, product roadmaps and promotional initiatives as well as product management responsibilities. -Work with Sales and Marketing Communications teams to develop effective marketing campaigns for launched products. -Utilize StageGate process for New Product Development initiatives -Development of marketing plans including product launches, technical documentation, demonstrations, and promotions as required. -Gather competitive intelligence and amass for easy reference. -Lead cross-functional teams to introduce new products to the market in accordance with launch schedules. -Own and perform product portfolio management for assigned segment, identifying potential gaps and prospects within channels and markets. -Market research to identify new product and market opportunities and define them to the organization.

What You Bring

The successful candidate will have demonstrated success in new product ideation & commercialization, possess natural curiosity, and has the ability to deeply understand segmented audiences and translate their needs into our product marketing business strategy. -Ability to create financial analysis, forecasts, pricing strategies and competitive analysis for new product initiatives. -A BS or graduate degree and/or background in Fire Protection Engineering is desirable -Minimum of 3 years' experience in Marketing, Sales, or related field with 1-3 years relevant experience in product management -Understanding of StageGate, PhaseGate, or similar NPD processes -Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or Engineering. Relevant work experience will be considered. -Work experience in Fire Protection, Manufacturing, Construction or Building Materials preferred -MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc)
