The Role

Overview

Lead onsite construction, manage teams, ensure safety, quality, and schedule.

Tasks

-Assist with Construction specific hiring process including interviews and onboarding -Turn off lights and equipment -Troubleshoot scheduling issues -Participate in Kickoff Meeting with Project Manager -Record hours and other hourly personnel onsite -Utilize company-required management softwares -Daily Job Hazard Analysis -Secure Temporary Utilities (power, water, sewer) -Ensure all equipment and tools are properly operating and maintained -Maintain a team-oriented environment and positively lead through challenges and obstacles -Participate in RFP and Interview process as needed -Constantly analyze and improve the Mavin Way -Turn in credit card receipts monthly -Participate with Project Manager in a subcontractor scope review * -Maintain a formal running issue log for project -Train and mentor other Mavin employees -Ensure their project drawings are up-to-date and organized to reflect most current set -Enforce and comply with all company and project-required safety policies and procedures -Attend and participate fully in Internal Mavin Company meetings -Conduct weekly safety meetings and inspections -Serves as a guide and on-site leader for internal team, subcontractors, vendors and clients from concept to completion. -Ensure jobsite is clean and organized -Complete all owner required paperwork -Provide weekly written coordination schedules -Maintain positive relationships with past clients leading to additional work or ongoing maintenance -Trucks (bi-annually detailing vehicle, service vehicle according to manufacturer recommendation) -Complete and scan Daily Job Reports -Coordinate manpower requirements with General Superintendent -Guide clients through complicated issues in a logical and simple way to ensure clarity and assist with decision making (make it make sense to someone outside of the construction industry) -Ensure all appropriate PPE is available for each respective task -Quarterly Meetings -Responsible for setting up jobsite including:

What You Bring

-Proactively problem solve -General knowledge and ability to use small tools -Able to climb ladders -Highly-Organized, Effective Communicator, Problem - Solver and Safety - Conscious -Able to lift 50 lbs -Obtain relevant certifications if required -Ability to read blueprints and specifications and perform advanced layout including but not limited to building layout. -Must be a licensed driver with reliable transportation to and from job sites -Minimum of 5-7 years construction experience with at least 2 years as an Assistant Superintendent. -Ability to effectively schedule and coordinate projects -Robust Knowledge of all phases of building construction, including work commonly done by subcontractors -Ipad and Cellphone (ensure technology is in a proper case) -Computer proficiency (Microsoft Office Suite) -Excellent writing, communication and interpersonal skills -Basic Knowledge of Different Contract Types -Readily adapts to change and leads through change with positivity and without hesitation -OSHA 30 Certification
