Tasks

-Ensure that all project deliverables are met on time and within budget. -Engage successfully with suppliers & contractors. -Manage changes to the project scope, schedule, and budget. -Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets. -Manage and expand sub-contractor base. -Develop and implement strategies for successful project delivery. -Developing and issuing risk assessments and method statements. -Identify and resolve project risks and issues. -Manage technical projects from initiation to completion. -Visiting client sites Nationwide. -Attend site surveys and produce detailed Site Audit Reports to aid project scope and costing. -Lead and coordinate the activities of site teams. -Communicate project status to the project team.

A Mechanical Project Manager with exceptional communication and customer service skills, is required for a very successful interior fit out group. The opportunity has arisen, due to the continued growth of the business and the constant increase in high profile client accounts that are being secured. Location: Hybrid role with travel to client sites across the country The Mechanical Project Manager will have a good level of experience and a strong track record of success. The role will include managing small and large full mechanical projects, planning tasks, sourcing labour and equipment, engaging with clients and ensuring that all stakeholders are informed of progress. The Mechanical Project Manager will be working on projects of varied size, scope and nature, for prestigious clients in the banking sector. While based from home, the Mechanical PM will need to be able to travel throughout the UK. Being centrally located may therefore, be advantageous. The group itself has offices in North London and Yorkshire. Travel and other expenses will be reimbursed. -Strong customer service skills. -Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills. -Knowledge of CDM Regulations including, but not limited to, phase plans. -Excellent ability to present concepts to diverse audiences with great clarity. -Competent with Microsoft Office. -Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. -Ability to achieve positive results while working independently. -Mechanical PM with minimum 5 years’ experience in HVAC / Public Health.
