The Role

Overview

Weld, cut, repair, install, and retrofit mechanical piping, manage tools, orders, and customers.

Tasks

-Purchases materials and issues purchase order numbers to suppliers and sub-contractors. -Participates in after-hours quoted projects (as needed) per customer requirements. -Maintains equipment, tools, and inventory stock on service vehicl -Performs sub-contractor management on quoted projects. -Weld using Stick Piping & Weld and Tig to Cut, Repair, Installs and performs retrofits on pipes/Mechanical service. -Completes quoted projects and demand service calls while maintaining profitability. Develops long-term relationships with customers and explains work performed to the customer's satisfaction.

What You Bring

High School Diploma or GED.Two-year technical degree in related field is preferred. -Safely drives a motor vehicle and trailer as evidenced by past driving performance record. Meets requirements of company vehicle driving policy and adheres to all company safety requirements. -Proficiently operates hand tools, power tools, gauges and measuring/testing equipment.
