Tasks

-Delegate tasks to appropriate resources as project requirements dictate -Work with stakeholders including the Executive, Product, Data, and Design teams to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs -Assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional / non-functional business requirements -Build analytics tools that utilize the data pipeline to provide actionable insights into customer acquisition, operational efficiency, and other key business performance metrics -Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, etc. -Design, develop, and deliver audience training and adoption methods and materials -Build the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources -Define project requirements by identifying project milestones, phases, and deliverables -Build processes supporting data transformation, data structures, metadata, dependency, and workload management -Create and maintain optimal data pipeline architecture -Execute project plan, report progress, identify and resolve problems, and recommend further actions

We need someone who is a problem solver, a critical thinker, and is always wanting to go after new things; you’ll never be doing the same thing twice! *Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment Visa at this time.* -Experience building and optimizing data pipelines, architectures, and data sets -A successful history of manipulating, processing, and extracting value from large, disconnected datasets -Experience performing root cause analysis on internal and external data and processes to answer specific business questions and identify opportunities for improvement -Curiosity to ask questions and challenge the status quo -Creativity to devise out-of-the-box solutions -Ability to travel as needed to meet client requirements -Advanced working SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases, query authoring (SQL) as well as working familiarity with a variety of databases. Databricks and DBT experience is a plus -Strong analytic skills related to working with structured and unstructured datasets -Ability to interface with multiple other business functions (internally and externally)
