Tasks

-Support hiring processes for field teams with safety input and guidance. -Conduct project audits — typically visiting the following week to verify compliance and identify improvement opportunities. -Maintain a presence in the office during slow seasons (some weeks may be entirely office-based). -Provide training, guidance, and support to field leadership to ensure safety requirements are understood and met. -Serve as the primary EHS representative for assigned projects, primarily at power plants, with some mines, and other industrial sites. -Coordinate with clients on environmental considerations (hazardous waste, stormwater, etc.) when necessary. -Perform incident investigations when required, including stepping in for the EHS Director during absences. -Develop and implement site-specific safety plans, procedures, and job hazard analyses in collaboration with Superintendents before project mobilization.

What You Bring

We are seeking a dependable and experienced EHS Territory Manager to support safety operations for construction and maintenance projects, primarily in the power generation sector. This role will focus on proactive safety planning, compliance oversight, and project audits—working closely with superintendents and project teams to ensure safety programs are implemented effectively. This position requires significant travel within Wyoming and the surrounding region. Overnight stays are common. -Complete required safety-related documentation, reporting, and recordkeeping accurately and on time. -Knowledge of environmental compliance topics (hazardous waste handling, stormwater management) is a plus. -Travel: 75% -Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or related field OR equivalent field safety experience. -Strong background in construction safety (industrial, mechanical, power generation). -8+ years of construction safety experience (EHS management, safety auditing, safety plan development). -MSHA certification preferred -High comfort level with technology (reporting systems, mobile apps, MS Office, etc.). -Ability to work independently and manage workload without daily direct supervision. -Proficiency in incident investigations, safety audits, and OSHA compliance.
