Tasks

You will manage estimates from inception through completion, including subcontractor selection and buyout. This role positions you to actively engage with general contractor clients, ensuring thorough follow-up and seamless transitions to the project management team. Collaborate closely with industry professionals, grow your career, and make a lasting impact on prominent projects within the construction sector. -Collaborating with project managers, architects, engineers, and clients to clarify project scope and resolve discrepancies -Reviewing architectural and engineering drawings, project plans, and specifications -Preparing detailed cost estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor work -Participating in bid preparation and submission processes -Soliciting and evaluating subcontractor and supplier quotes -Tracking changes in project scope and adjusting estimates accordingly -Performing quantity take-offs and cost analyses -Maintaining historical cost databases and estimation tools -Identifying potential risks and cost-saving opportunities
