Tasks

Multiskilled Technician (Void) – Prepare homes for new tenants with expert multi-trade repairs – Location: Chesham, High Wycombe + travel You’ll be responsible for day-to-day maintenance in void properties, applying technical expertise across three or more trades to deliver high-quality results. You’ll play a vital role in minimising void rent loss by adhering to void standards, ensuring properties are hazard-free, and completing works efficiently and effectively. -Manage tools, materials, and vehicle stock efficiently -Communicate effectively with tenants and staff, providing excellent customer care -Carry out general maintenance works in void properties -Achieve first-time fixes and complete repairs within target response times -Maintain accurate documentation and reports on completed work -Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and internal procedures -Minimise waste and support continuous improvement

What You Bring

Due to the nature of some of our roles involving work with vulnerable members of society, this post may be subject to a basic or enhanced Criminal Disclosure, which will be carried out when a conditional offer is made. You’ll be based out of our Head Office in High Wycombe and our Stores Room in Chesham for equipment, property packs, and team briefings. -Experience working in voids or property turnaround environments -Significant experience in maintenance and repair work across multiple trades -Experience within social housing/local authority -City & Guilds or NVQ in multiple trades, or equivalent experience -Strong time-management and communication skills -Confidence in working independently across a mobile patch -Valid UK manual driving licence - if successful in this role, you'll receive a fully-insured van plus a fuel card for business use. -Familiarity with mobile job management systems -Knowledge of construction, building regulations, and health & safety standards
